What I was wondering about in this piece is the implications of the ideas (currently being piloted by Nimses) for the age of post-scarcity (should we ever get there). In other words, monetary reward for an economic contribution is the familiar model. But, if/when the automation of everything will render economic contribution by humans an oxymoron, what mechanisms of exchange might come into play?
